Remington Military Products Division Introduces the Shotgun
Retention Device – an Effective Tactical Accessory

– Complementing the Remington MPD
firearms and ammunition offerings is a line of essential
tactical accessories and gun care products. For 2006, new to
this family of products is the Shotgun Retention Device (SRD) –
an extremely effective tactical shotgun accessory, designed to
provide multiple mounting solutions.
The versatile Shotgun Retention Device constructed of durable,
thermal molded plastic securely holds the weapon to allow rapid
removal and return in tactical environments. The SRD’s unique
mounting capabilities allow it to be attached on the left or
right side on body armor, tactical vests or duty belts as well
as permanently affixed in a vehicle, aircraft or stationary
position in a building. The SRD has adjustable tension to meet
the mounted environment and three spacer discs which allow the
SRD to clear Level IV body armor or other tactical equipment.
The construction material of the SRD is highly resistant to
common chemicals and all but very high temperatures.
